Transforming a new state-of-the-art welding training facility with modular acoustic welding booths, sliding welding screens and future-proof workspace design.
The Challenge

Stockton Riverside College was developing a brand-new engineering training facility and required a practical, robust solution to create twenty-four individual welding bays.  The installation needed to:

  • Create individual student welding booths
  • Reduce noise transfer between bays
  • Improve Welding Safety
  • Maximise available floor space
  • Allow easy supervision by teaching staff
  • Provide a professional workshop environment built to withstand years of daily use
The Solution

Tusker Industrial Safety designed and installed:

24 Modular Acoustic Welding Booths

  • High performance Sonic acoustic wall panels
  • Modular steel construction
  • Adjustable levelling feet
  • Floor fixed and wall secured system
  • Heavy-duty sliding rail systems
  • Flexible welding curtain access
  • Professional installation by Tusker engineers
The Result

The completed installation delivers a clean, organised and professional welding training environment where every student has their own dedicated workspace.  The modular design means additional bays can be added or reconfigured in the future should the college’s requirements change.

The acoustic wall system also provides significantly improved separation between workstations, creating a more comfortable learning environment.
