Tusker’s PU28 Fire Barrier is a flexible alternative to rigid fire board products.
The fire barrier is designed for use in a wide range of applications. This includes large building developments, timber-framed constructions and smaller installations, such as partition walls and loft conversions. You can use this innovative and efficient alternative to traditional fire boards wherever and whenever building regulations specify a fire barrier must be used.
PU28 is made from a PU-coated glass fabric that’s been treated with a flame-retardant polymer. The PU coating is designed to suppress dust and prevent irritation.
Designed to contain the passage of smoke and flames, our PU28 Fire Barrier has been tested against BS476 part 22 and has a 90-minute fire rating. Providing efficient protection, the fire barrier is versatile and highly flexible. It can be stapled onto, under or over joists, in ceilings, on floors or as a cavity barrier.
