An industrial retractable reel for hanging welding curtains, PVC strip curtains or other curtains which self-retracts, enabling areas to be opened up when not in use. When not in use, the curtains are suspended from a pivoting arm, which rotates through 180º. To use, the integral suspension wire is pulled from the spring-loaded reel and attached to a simple tensioning bracket on the other side of the welding bay and the curtain can then be drawn along the wire across the welding area. 8-metre span.
