Curtain Material – HiVis Amber (HIV3) PVC
- Conforms to: BS EN ISO 25980 (2023) for welding screen materials.
- Flame-retardant to test method: BS 5438, Test 2A and 2B.
- Construction: Translucent, heavy-duty standard PVC.
- Cold crack performance: –19 °C.
- Breaking load (minimum) per 5 cm: Longitudinal (L) 20 N, Transverse (T) 18 N.
- Tongue tear (minimum): L 75 N, T 100 N.
- Storage conditions: –5 °C to +25 °C, room temperature.
- Cleaning: Wash with mild detergent (no harsh chemicals).
Frame and posts
- Heavy-duty steel construction, designed for industrial welding partitions.
- Finish: Powder-coated steel for enhanced durability, corrosion-resistance and clean visual appearance.
- Retractable mechanism: Smooth glide system (spring, or counter-balance assisted) engineered for frequent use and reliable movement under load.
- Mounting: Floor-mounted or wall-mounted post options (depending on site conditions). Posts are included in the supplied kit—no hidden extras.
- Operation: Single-action side retract of screen curtain, with secure locking with heavy duty hook in the deployed position and smooth retraction into reel when not in use.
- Dimensions: Custom widths available to suit bay spans.
- Maintenance: Designed for minimal upkeep — only periodic check of posts, mechanism lubrication and inspection of curtain material for wear/spatter.
